Plum Cobbler Bars

This recipe was so worth the effort. It was quite a beautiful process, just look at how pretty the plums were when I was reducing to make the jam!

It was even more beautiful in person. My camera could not quite capture the vibrance. I made the jam one weekend, and then assembled the pastry and baked it all the following weekend. The flavors and textures were awesome. I brought it to work, and got several rave reviews! One of my coworkers make a gluten-free version with blueberries, and was pleased with the results. Highly recommend :)
